The Story Behind

Turning One Conversation Into a Life Path

Let’s Talk was developed to show how early conversations can shape life outcomes around sexual health. The story begins with consequence, then moves backwards to a key moment on a bench where guidance, education, and open discussion could have influenced a different path.
By reversing the narrative, the film reframes sexual health education as something immediate, relatable, and deeply connected to everyday decisions.

The Challenge

Engaging Teen Audiences Without Fear or Stigma

Sexual health education for young people often struggles with tone — either too clinical to connect or too fear-based to engage. The challenge was to create a film that feels fast, relatable, and culturally relevant while still addressing sensitive topics with care and responsibility.
Additional care was required to ensure the subject matter involving minors was handled in a fully stigma-safe, non-identifiable way.

Our Approach

Reverse Storytelling for Behavioural Impact

The film uses a reverse narrative structure, beginning with outcome and tracing back to cause, to reinforce the importance of prevention and informed decision-making. This approach strengthens emotional reflection by showing how small conversations can change long-term outcomes.
Characters are anonymised and never visually identifiable to protect privacy and reduce stigma risk. A youthful, upbeat tone is used to align with teenage attention patterns and improve message retention without diluting seriousness.
